One of the challenges process servers face is a language barrier for serving Hispanic individuals. NCAPPS created a Spanish guide that contains a list of commonly used phrases in Spanish that you may use while serving. Rosario Morales, a legal assistant in Charlotte interpreted the list for us and was a guest speaker at our recent annual meeting. We think this list will be a very valuable tool to all servers!

Elections were held on Oct. 5th, 2013 for the NCAPPS Board of Directors Positions for the upcoming 2013-2014 year.
The New Board is:
President, Ruth Reynolds
Vice President-Membership, Audra Coleman
Vice President-Legal and Legislature, Bill Fletcher
Secretary, Kimberly Hamilton
Treasurer, Jennifer McCracken
Several Chair Persons were also appointed with the new Board.
