About Us
In September 2010 in Greensboro, North Carolina thirteen process servers from around the state along with a representative from National Association of Professional Process Servers from New Jersey held our first meeting to form the North Carolina Association of Professional Process Servers, Inc. ( NCAPPS ). There have been numerous meetings and conference calls held to complete our goal of receiving non profit status from the state and to implement the structure to the association that the members and future members will be proud to be associated. The sixteen founding members have worked hard to set in place an association that will provide its members education and promote the profession and protect our right to assist the legal community, the courts and the public. And to establish a best practice for the process servers of North Carolina.
